I made Macarons this week from a new recipe but they didn't turn
out as pretty as I would have liked so I did the next best thing!
Made them into Petits Fours! They were especially pretty
because I had made them in two colors - red & pink.
I made a Raspberry Buttercream filling using this recipe.
I just substituted Raspberry Jam in place of the Strawberry
Syrup called for in the recipe. It was delicious!
I piped a pretty swirl of buttercream on the macaron
shells (using my Wilton 1M tip) then popped a
pretty raspberry in the middle. I finished with a
light dusting of powdered sugar!
So my Tearoom Tip of the Day is - When
your Macarons turn out ugly, make Macaron
Petits Fours!! They were delicious!
they turned out sooooo cute! You're amazing Jina! Every day comes up something delicious!!!
